How to Register for a SUNY Schenectady Higher in the High School Course

Step 1

Students may register for all CHS classes at once. No need to submit multiple registration forms. In one case registration is completed, students volition be billed for the cost of their CHS course at a rate of $64 per credit. This is 1/3 the cost of SUNY Schenectady County Community College tuition. Bills volition be sent to the student's address that is on file with instructions on how to pay.

This registration is for Autumn Only or Full Year CHS classes. Check for classes available at your loftier school.

Tuition Information

Students volition be charged $192 for a 3 Credit Form and $256 for a 4 Credit Form. Tuition Invoices will exist mailed home.
Invoices will be mailed domicile with payment instructions. Payment is due March 11, 2022.
Tuition Aid:
- Complimentary/Reduced Lunch Waiver: SUNY Schenectady's Board of Trustees has canonical to waive tuition for all students who qualify for Free/Reduced luncheon. Complete the Costless/Reduced Lunch Waiver form and render to your instructor for approval signature. Please do not submit a form if you lot submitted ane in Fall of 2022. Forms are valid for one academic year.
- Scholarship Request: Additional scholarship funds are available for students who do not qualify for Free/Reduced lunch only demonstrate financial hardships. Please complete the Scholarship Request class and mail directly to address shown. Please do not submit a class if yous submitted one in Fall of 2022. Forms are valid for i academic twelvemonth.

All forms are due no later than March i, 2022. You must be registered for a course prior to submitting your form. No late applications will be accepted.

Obtain a Certificate of Residence if you are not a Schenectady Canton resident.

If you have already submitted a Document of Residence in the Fall of 2021, you practise not need to submit another 1.
All not-Schenectady County residents need to submit a Certificate of Residence. by March 2, 2022.
Please remind your students to follow instructions in the parent messages for obtaining a Document of Residence, unless your school has a system arranged with your County Treasurer or local County Clerk role.
