One of the keys to a successful Scouting experience for young people, second only to the selection of the correct person for each responsibleness, is trained volunteer leadership. Leadership training provides adult leaders with fundamental information about the aims and methods of the motion, as well as specifics about their particular roles in Scouting.

- Varsity Scouts - Motorcoach, Assistant Coach, and Committee Chairman
This policy is greater than that which is required for for the unit of measurement's Journey to Excellence grading and supercedes any and all previous training policies of the Coronado Area Council.
Effective October ane, 2018, all registered volunteers must have taken the new Youth Protection Training. This is mandatory equally directed by National. Although it tin be taken online, there will be face to confront presentations conducted at all resident camps during June.
