Cull Your Courses

Constructive June 2019, students enrolled at Questrom must have earned a minimum grade of "C" in five of the following courses, and no less than "C-" in the sixth course, in order to apply these courses towards their BSBA major and advance into 300-level Questrom courses. For more information on this policy, click here.

  • MA121 or MA123 (4 credits)
  • SM131 (4 credits)
  • SM132 (ii credits)
  • EC101 (4 credits)
  • EC102 (four credits)
  • BU Hub First-Year Writing Seminar – WR120 or equivalent (4 credits)

In your freshman spring, yous should plan to take 18 or 19 credits.  To selection your courses for adjacent semester, keep the following in listen:

  • Beginning, add SM132 to your planner.  You should have the same department for SM132 that you had for SM131 (that is, if yous were in section BD for SM131, you should register for SM132 BD). If the assigned SM132 section does not work with your time zone (falls between midnight and 8 am), please e-mail your academic advisor as soon as possible).
  • Next, add whatever of the remaining gateway courses to your planner.
    • If y'all took WR111 in the fall, you must accept WR112 this spring

Another things to consider:

  • If you earned a 4 or 5 on AP Statistics, you tin can have that grade count equally your QM221 requirement.  This is a fairly new policy, and degree advice has not notwithstanding been updated to reflect the modify.  Please e-mail your counselor or come to drop-ins and someone can make the update manually.

  • If, after registration, a grade has the notation "course closed," the simply mode to add a seat is through the Waitlist Request form or the add together/drop procedure.  This remains truthful even if it looks like there is an open seat on the StudentLink.  That seat will be filled by someone from the waitlist.

    • LA245 (Business Police)
  • You lot may cull to take ES210 in either the autumn or spring semester.  If you haven't yet completed ES110 (1 cr), add that to your schedule, you should accept ES215 (2 cr) in the autumn semester.
